but all in all singapore is still smth to b proud of
1. singapore is the worlds only city state. stop blabbering on n on abt hong kong bcuz hong kong is part of china. n monaco, vatican city etc. r 2 small to be even considered.
2. singapore has chinese, malays, eurasians n
3. singapore has satay, chicken rice, laksa, chilli crab, char kway teow, roti prata etc. england has pie, pie, pie , pie, pie, pie
oh did i mention that a mcdonalds happy meal costs S$14 in france?
4. singapore becomes 1st world in 30yrs since independence. no thx to a certain mm lee
5. singapore got durian fruit, durian paste, durian esplanade theatres on the bay
6. singapore got ndp n ns
7. singapore got 50% citizens 50% non-citizens (roughly)
8. singapore will host first f1 night race nxt yr, n probably beyond!
9. singapore got majulah singapura
10. singapore got merlion n raffles statue, raffles institution, raffles hotel,
11. singapore got chinese high school
12. singapore has one of the best ports, airports, airlines in the world!
13. 0% of singaporeans live below the poverty line. at least everybody get to eat
14. singapore got hdb
15. singapore got ong yik sin taylor
16. singapore is the largest city in southeast asia that doesnt have serious pollution problems (bangkok) sanitation probs (manila) overcrowding (jakarta) or daylight robbery (some malaysian places)
17. singapore can be proud of being chinese (70% chinese, predominantly chinese culture) n malay (natives, part of malay archipelago) at the same time. (eh indian...)
